Born in Chicago, IL in 1948, Matt was successfully transplanted to the Atlanta area in 1995.
Retiring in 2000, he has earnestly pursued his love of the art and craft of photography.
Striving to improve his work, he has attended several workshops of photographers such as Kim Weston, Randy Efros and Jay Dusard.
He still loves the traditional “analogue” darkroom, but has learned to combine the best of both worlds with digital tools as well.
His work has been shown in several juried exhibits. He was part of a three-person show presented by the Arizona State University Libraries in Phoenix.
