Lisa Sibley is a Fine Art Photographer whose work explores the identity of time, place, and people.
The transience of time, place, and people influences and challenges her use of photography to seize sharable moments.
Her images will derive from a decisive moment or a constructed space. Sibley delves into the deeper aspects of what forms those identities. She may take a nostalgic approach by using vernacular photographs in present time to coalesce a new or continued narrative or she will maintain a traditionalist approach of capturing landscape or time just as it is seen in that one moment.
Her work has been recognized locally and internationally. She is an alumnus of Eckerd College and Lesley University College of Art and Design, Cambridge, MA, where she earned her MFA in Visual Arts/Photography.
Sibley lives and works in Tarpon Springs, FL.
