Frank Fuerst | Windblown | Framed $225, Unframed $175

I discovered photography to be an art form 40 years ago, when I took a two semester Photo 1 course. I learned the magic of creating prints in a darkroom and the basics composition, but we also spent time studying the work of the iconic artists that I still admire to this day: Diane Arbus, Cartier-Bresson, Walker Evans, Lee Friedlander, Brett Weston, Garry Winogrand to name a few. I took a long hiatus from photography as I pursued a career and raised a family. When I came back a half dozen years ago it was, of course, a digital world, but I still have a love for the black & white prints I was schooled on in that darkroom years ago.
