I received a BFA from ETSU in Printmaking in 1986. Since then I have continued my work while making a living as an Insurance Agent. I own a small agency in Manchester, TN.
I work mainly in drawing and assemblages. When digital photography became available to the masses I began to work with this medium and found freedom in a visual communication that I had always had but never had the technical capability to pursue or share. I still hesitate to call myself a photographer in the historical sense because I lack understanding of technical applications. Having said this though, I do have respect and knowledge of the history of photography and consider my photographic work valid as a communicative resource to share.
